HIC's Potato Masher quickly and easily turns cooked potatoes into creamy mashed potatoes. A versatile addition to cooking tools, the Potato Masher easily tackles heftier tasks, like mixing cheddar mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes or yams, carrots, turnip, parsnip, cauliflower, even mixing dough, and incorporating wet or dry ingredients for recipes. Use it for squeezing excess water from grated raw potatoes for crispier potato chips or hash browns, or from cooked spinach and other greens before adding to quiche, ravioli filling, lasagna, enchiladas, and crepe recipes. Process ingredients easily for lefse (Norwegian flatbread), spaetzle (German noodles), and gnocchi (classic Italian pasta). Easy to use. Peel potatoes and cut into 1-inch pieces. Cook in a pot of boiling water until fork tender. Use a colander to drain them well and return them to the pot. Press Masher downward on the potatoes using a firm pressure, ending with a twist. Continue until desired texture is achieved and finish according to recipe.
